The method of regulating the roll force distribution ratios of several roll frames when the distribution ratio between the furthest downstream rolls and one or several upstream rolls deviates from an optimal value includes continually storing the deviation and roll conditions prevailing at that time and also storing the regulating value which is used to correct the deviation as a coefficient values which can subsequently be used during following rolling when similar conditions prevail.
