Instead of the shaking and swinging movements which are conventionally produced by suitable equipment in laboratories and research and teaching institutes, but which are time-consuming and laborious and especially dangerous for certain substances, the semi-automatic mixing and filling apparatus makes it possible for the substances to be mixed to be automatically homogenised in accordance with their planned percentage mixing proportions as a result of vacuum suction even before they pass into a collection or mixing vessel, while their filling and metering operations are controlled by photoelectric barriers.
