The nuclear radiation metallic absorber contains a metallic copper alloy containing 0.05 to 50% of boron in weight, compared to the total alloy weight, preferably 0.05 to 10% boron in weight, compared to the total alloy weight. Moreover it may contain additional elements such as neutron absorbing elements, mechanical, physical and technological properties reinforcing elements, fibres or anti-corrosion elements. It may more specifically be used for neutron and gamma and X radiation absorption.
