<p>An apparatus provided with a polarizer in which, among the transmission surfaces for the beam of light at a transparent substrate (14), the transmission surface (14a) on which a polarizing isolation film (4) is not formed, is slantwise disposed to that (14b) on which the polarizing isolation film (4) is formed, and transmitting the beam (12) of parallel light of a predetermined incident angle to thereby perform polarizing isolation. An optical isolator is provided with the two apparatus, and therebetween with a Faraday rotor.</p> |
