The lid-plate is made of a laminate which is composed of an aluminium foil and at least one layer of plastic, for sealing onto plastic surfaces. The layer of plastic consists of an EVA-PE mixture, and the plate is embossed in order to achieve a flat lie. The preferred embossing pattern is a linen design.
