PURPOSE:To easily crush a can by providing a projecting part to a plate to be pressed and disposing an arm having a pressing plate so as to be pivotally supported by a shaft. CONSTITUTION:The arm 6 having the pressing plate 2 is disposed oppositely to the plate 1 which is to be pressed and is provided with the projecting part 7 at the sectional center. The center of the body part of the empty can 5 to be crushed is set on the projecting part 7 of the plate 1 to be pressed and the pressing plate 2 is lowered by means of the arm 6 and a tread 4. Since the body part of the empty can 5 is weak, said part is pressed by the pressing and both ends are withdrawn to the central side. The empty can 5 is completely compressed when the pressing plate 2 presses the can further. The empty can 5 is extremely easily crushed by the principle of a lever. |
