PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of an ink passage due to the swelling caused by ink by forming the ink passage suitable for the passage of the ink, by forming the material constituting the ink passage of an ink jet head from a photosensitive polyimide resin. CONSTITUTION:The member constituting the ink passage of an ink jet head is formed from a photosensitive polyimide resin. In constituting the ink passage of the ink jet head as mentioned above when the photosensitive polyimide resin is used, a thick film pattern having a high aspect ratio and good edge sharpness can be formed and the ink passage suitable for passing the ink in the ink jet head is formed and this photosensitive polyimide resin is excellent in an insulating property and pressure resistance and not swollen and deformed by the ink. |
