In order also to be able to operate heating and power stations economically in the case of part-load operation, exhaust gas flows are produced by means of two gas turbines (3, 14) which drive generators (6, 17), which exhaust gas flows are united and fed, as controllable partial flows, to an additionally fired waste-heat boiler (1) and to a pure waste-heat boiler (12) in which steam is produced, which is fed to consumers (10, 24, 25), the entire steam production taking place in accordance with the respective requirement and being carried out with an optimum efficiency in that, in the event of an increased heat requirement, the exhaust gas is fed primarily to the additionally fired waste-heat boiler (1) and, in the event of a lower heat requirement, the exhaust gas is fed primarily to the pure waste-heat boiler (12). <IMAGE>
