<p>The door jamb lining is fitted with two rabbetted claddings, on both sides, with lining and claddings together embracing the plastered masonry at the end in a U-shape. There is a blind jamb lining (1) firmly joined to this, and a lining strip, which covers the blind lining, is indirectly and detachably joined to it. A clamping shaped-section unit (9) may be let in on each narrow side of the blind lining, for fitting attachment of a matching clamping section unit (11) on the rabbetted cladding (10) concerned. These units may incorporate retaining media for the lining strip, and may be in the form of a tongue and groove connection. The vulnerable external parts can be fitted at any suitable time, and removed at any time.</p> |
