PURPOSE:To speed up the selection of zoom lenses and a change in their magnifications by comparing a specified magnification with that stored in a magnification storage means when the zoom lenses are selected or driven. CONSTITUTION:A ROM 152 stores the magnification range of the projecting lenses 68, 70 and 72, while a RAM 154 is provided with areas FF10H-FF12H regarding magnification memory for the projecting lenses 68, 70 and 72. By operating a ten-key, a stored magnification can be modified. The preset enlarging magnification stored in the RAM 164 is selected through the key, and the zoom lens possessing the magnification range including the selected magnification (specified one) is compared with magnification data stored in the ROM 152 to determine an appropriate zoom lens among the zoom lenses 68, 70 and 72. In such a way, the magnification of the zoom lens can be quickly detected any time, and magnification change can be automated to speed up its action. |
