In the case of a device for treating pipelines subjected to media pressure, such as house lead-ins, it is proposed to seat a two-part capsule on the connection stub of the pipeline. For this purpose, the capsule bottom part is coupled non-rotatably on the connection stub, the capsule top part being rotatably mounted eccentrically thereto and always closing off the capsule interior in a media-impermeable manner. On a circle located concentrically with respect to the axis of rotation, the capsule top part is provided with a set of assembly tools which are used for treating the pipeline. In this arrangement, the capsule top part can be adjusted, in the manner of a carousel, between those rotary positions in which the respective assembly tool is aligned with the connection stub of the line.
