PURPOSE:To realize the sequential addition of drivers to an operating system OS by using software equal to a conventional static link system and without using such mechanisms of a special compiler, a linkage editor, the software, etc., which are necessary for a dynamic link system. CONSTITUTION:Both the routine and data names of a kernel emerging in a driver are converted into numbers at the time of compiling. Then these numbers are designated by the driver at the time of rise or execution for acquisition of the addresses of an inter-kernel routine and data. At the same time, the relevant address is obtained at the time of rise or execution when the kernel designates a driver and the number given to the routine of each routine. Thus the address of a computer is obtained at the time of rise or execution of the computer. Then an address is decided between the kernel and a driver at the time of rise or execution of the computer and the driver becomes practicable.
