<p>PURPOSE:To make constant velocity travel performable by specifying a relationship between a supporting position of an arm constituting each leg and length of the arm, in a device which uses a cable of a telephone line or the like installed in the air as a track, and travels with each pair of front and rear legs rocked alternately. CONSTITUTION:Each lower end of both first and second arms 401, 402 made up of fitting a fixed pin 3 loosely in a slit in an intermediate part is pinned to each rotary disk 1 supported free of rotation in front and in the rear of a travel device body 2 at a position where phase is shifted as far as 180 degrees. Front and rear legs are constituted of both these arms 401, 402, and each holding part holding an aerial cable 7 is formed in each upper end of these arms 401, 402. Then, the rotary disk 1 is rotated by drive of a motor 5, and the holding parts of these arms 401, 402 are moved alternately and thus the body 2 should be traveled. At this time, when a distance between a position O of the pin 3 and a turning center A of the rotary disk 1 is set to (a), length of a link AB to (b) and arm length to (c), respectively, it is set to such a relationship as a/b=1.6, c/b=6.6.</p> |
