PURPOSE: To transmit load with a high capacity and a high efficiency by substantially compensating for a revolution element deformed by bending moment and shear stresses under the effect of the load on a peripheral wall of a trunnion and being distributed to transmit the load on an inner peripheral wall of a load revolution element. CONSTITUTION: An outer peripheral wall 102 of a trunnion 101 which is an arm of a tripod element of a uniform velocity revolution joint is rotatably supported around an axis 103 by an inner peripheral wall 104 of a roller segment 106 of which outer surface 4 rotates within a revolution track 108. The roller segment 106 has a larger ratio of a thickness H against a half length 1 of the roller segment, so a deformation caused by a bending moment is not very big, and the roller segment 106 is positioned at a center of shear stresses. The shear stresses, in each flat faces with an angle A formed with an inserting flat surfaces 113 by compensating condition under the affect of load Q of the peripheral walls 102, 104 is equivalent to full load affecting to the peripheral wall 104. Transferring load with a high capacity and a high efficiency can be conducted to an entire length thereby.
