PURPOSE:To enable a clock function to check the quality of wiring during installation, by a method wherein a wired remote control is provided with a source detecting means to detect a power source fed from the indoor machine side after installation and a clock display part to start counting of a clock timer by means of a feed source. CONSTITUTION:An indoor controller 1 is connected to a wired remote control 2 through two source lines 3 and a single transmission and receipt line 4 after mounting of them in a given room. The wired remote control 2 has a number of control key switches 5 contained in a case 2a of the remote control 2 and adapted to control various kinds of air conditioning operation, and an LED display part 6 to display various operation conditions and states of air conditioning operation controlled by a switch 5 by liquid crystal. A clock display part 7 to display a time is formed in the LED display part 6. A battery 8 serving as compensation for a power source during outage is removably mounted to the remote control 2. Since a clock display part 7 of the remote control 2 is so designed not to perform a clock timer counting motion before a point of time when it is actually connected to an indoor machine, discrimination of whether normal connection is made or not can be simply and instantaneously effected. |
