PURPOSE:To simplify a structure, and improve heat dissipation, by mounting a light emitting element and a reflecting member having a reflecting surface in the form of a surface of revolution, and filling a space with light transmitting resin formed into a convex lens type. CONSTITUTION:By a circuit pattern 3, 4 formed on a substrate 2, and a wire 6, electric power is supplied to a light emitting element 1, which emits light. Light which passes through a central part of light transmitting resin 6a is radiated in the front direction as a light parallel to an optical axis X. Light emitted in the side direction is reflected by the reflecting surface 7a of a reflecting member 7, and radiated in the front direction. Light emitted in the direction of peripheral part 6b of light transmitting resin 6 is subjected to total reflection by the peripheral part 6b, and the reflected light is reflected by the reflecting surface 7a to be radiated toward the front surface. By this constitution, the form of a light emitting surface is simplified, a surface light emitting source wherein a plurality of pieces are coupled can be manufactured en bloc, and heat discipation of a light radiating surface is improved. |
