PURPOSE:To absorb the energy being a cause to ringing by using an active element so as to suppress the dumping vibration generated in the midpoint of a horizontal deflection coil so as to reduce the loss of the deflection current. CONSTITUTION:When a switch element Q1 is turned off by a pulse, a flyback pulse FBP is generated and the dumping vibration being a cause to ringing is generated in the midpoint C of horizontal deflection coils L2, L3. In turning on a dumping vibration absorption switch element Q2 by a pulse of a switch element drive circuit B1, the energy of the midpoint C is divided by a resistor R1, and no vibration is generated and the trailing of the FBP is decreased gradually. However, in keeping the on-state of the element Q2, since the deflection current is consumed, the element is turned off before the video period is started. Thus, the deflection current loss is reduced to absorb the energy being the cause to ringing. |
