PURPOSE:To prevent air from being mixed in lubricating oil without increasing the number of parts, by a method wherein the outer periphery of a rotary body positioned in a lower lubricating oil reservoir is surrounded with a part of a baffle plate adapted to collect lubricating oil from the upper part of an engine to guide it to a lower lubricating oil reservoir. CONSTITUTION:A driven pulley 9 is integrally engaged with a rotary shaft 8 of an oil pump 6, and is coupled to a drive pulley 10 of a crank shaft 3 through an endless belt 11. A surrounding part 19 is integrally formed, in a manner to surround the oil pump 6 and the driven pulley 9, to a baffle plate 17, adapted to collect oil dropped from the upper inner part of a cylinder block 2 to drop it in an oil pan 15 through an opening 18, by press molding. |
