A pressure device presses an implant against a base bone provided in the region of an underside, which faces away from a counter-bone, of the implant. The pressure device has an essentially wedge-shaped tool head which is applied to the implant in the region of its upper side facing away from the underside. The tool head ends in a shaft extending along a longitudinal axis of the tool. In the region of its end facing away from the tool head the shaft is connected to a handle.
