PURPOSE:To control the fluctuation of slurry fluidity in a specified range with good responsiveness by providing a fluidity measuring device to the flow passage just behind a slurry outlet of a mixer and adjusting the water amount to be supplied to the mixer according to the measured value. CONSTITUTION:The fluidity of slurry discharged from a continuous hard kneading mixer 1 of instant kneading is measured just after the slurry has been discharged from the outlet by the fluidity measuring instrument 9. The fluidity measuring instrument 9 is constituted in such a way that a ski type float of reverse V-shaped cross section is disposed on the slurry 21 flowing down in a slanted chute 20 of V-shaped cross section so as to be freely allowed to move vertically so that the thickness of the slurry 21 is measured by detecting the vertical position of the float. This measured value is sent to a controller 10, which calculates the suitable opening of a motored valve 8 from the practical opening of the motored valve 8 and the measured value of fluidity, and operates the motored valve 8 to adjust the water amount to be supplied. |
