PURPOSE:To improve the responsiveness of warning and the accuracy of a counting rate by processing a pulse counted value of each constant time by a counting rate arithmetic means for warning output by large standard deviation and a counting rate arithmetic means for counting rate output by small standard deviation. CONSTITUTION:A pulse integration circuit 1 counts pulses at constant intervals of time and sends its output to the counting rate arithmetic circuit 21 for warning output and the arithmetic circuit 322 for counting rate output, and equations I and II are used to perform individual arithmetic processing. Here, the standard deviation used by the counting rate arithmetic circuit 21 for warning output is larger than the standard deviation used by the counting rate arithmetic circuit 22 for counting rate output. Then the output of the arithmetic circuit 21 is inputted to a warning decision circuit 3 and the output of the arithmetic circuit 22 is inputted to a counting rate output circuit 5 respectively to increase the response speed of warning and also improve the accuracy of the counting rate signal.
