<p>The invention relates to a lead battery construction and a process for its manufacture. The characteristic feature of the lead battery construction according to the invention is that cell-lids perforated for the flag terminals are placed over the battery plates conventionally arranged in the cells of the battery-vessel, then in a single operation the same polarity plates of the given cell are electrically connected with each other and with the opposite polarity of the adjacent cell, in a given case with the auxiliary terminal of the battery, and/or in case of the extreme cells, with the respective main terminal by using insulating material and mould. The gaps between the structural elements are sealed with thermoplastic material.</p> |
