PURPOSE:To obtain a composition which can give a pressure-sensitive adhesive which can cure at a relatively low temperature, excels in cohesive force and has a high adhesive force, by mixing a specified diorganopolysiloxane with two specified organopolysiloxanes and a platinum catalyst. CONSTITUTION:A pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive composition comprising 30-70pts.wt. diorganopolysiloxane (A) of formula I (wherein R is a monovalent hydrocarbon group, R<1> is a lower alkenyl, and n is an integer), 70-30pts.wt. organopolysiloxane (B) comprising units of formula II (wherein R<2> is an alkyl, an alkenyl or a hydroxyl group, and at least 95 mol% of the total R<2> groups are methyl groups) and SiO2 units, having a molar ratio between these two kinds of units ranging from (0.6:1) to (0.9:1) and a content of Si-bonded hydroxyl groups <=1wt.%, an organohydrogenpolysiloxane (C) having at least two Si- bonded hydrogen atoms in the molecule, in an amount sufficient to give 1-40 Si-bonded hydrogen atoms per alkenyl group in component A and 0.1-1000pts. wt., per 1000000pts.wt. total of components A-C, of a platinum catalyst (D). |
