PURPOSE:To smoothly accomplish starting on a slippery road surface by controlling to apply braking force to a driving wheel according to the operating state of an accelerator detecting that a car is started on a slippery road surface. CONSTITUTION:A car is provided with braking force adjusting means 3 for adjusting the braking force of a brake A for a driving wheel. In this case, there are provided slip state detecting means C for detecting whether a road surface where the car travels is slippery, accelerator detecting means D for detecting the operating state of an accelerator and start detecting means E for detecting whether the car starts. Output signals of the above detecting means C-E are input to slip control means F for starting, and when it is detected that the car is started on a slippery road surface, the braking force adjusting means B is controlled to apply braking force to a driving wheel according to the operating state of an acceleration D, whereby satisfactory traction can be ensured at the initial time of starting. |
