PURPOSE:To cover the surface of a drum in a single body state wherein it is detached from a device and to improve the reliability of a photosensitive drum cartridge by adding a drum covering mechanism. CONSTITUTION:This device consists of a PC cartridge 1, a photosensitive drum 2, a guide part 3 which is part of the drum covering mechanism, and a lock part 4. While a shutter belt 5 is guided too the guide part 3 by gripping a knob 11, a tension hook part 10 is hooked to the lock part 4. In this state, the shutter belt 5 covers the photosensitive drum 2 completely. Then tension is applied by a return belt 6 in the opposite direction at all times. Consequently, when the hook part 10 is unhooked from the lock part 4, the shutter belt 5 restores itself into its original state. |
