PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a power source optimum for memory backup purpose by specifying the potential to the metal lithium of a negative electrode or the atomic ratio of aluminum in an alloy. CONSTITUTION:A material in which the potential of the negative electrode 4 is higher than 0.26V to the metal lithium 5 as a standard electrode, or in the other point of view, a material in which the aluminum atom ratio in the lithium-aluminum alloy is 40 % or higher is used. As a result, the inserting reaction of the lithium to a positive electrode 7 can be avoided, and no trouble occurs in the charge and discharge after the discharge even though an 0V long period overdischarge is operated. In such a composition, a power source optimum for memory backup purpose can be obtained. |
