PURPOSE:To reduce information to be stored and to realize an inexpensive deciphering device by feeding the internal state of a shift register back to the shift register through a feedback circuit. CONSTITUTION:An optional sequence is obtained from the feedback shift register 12 by an arithmetic unit which inputs a parameter necessary for sequence generation from an input device and generates a feedback function of another sequence according to the parameter and one sequence stored in a storage device and a controller which inputs the feedback function value to the feedback circuit 13 of the feedback shift register 12 to obtain the optional sequence. Therefore, the simple constitution generates an whole-period sequence or a nonlinear sequence signal wherein 0 and 1 are half and half extremely efficiently.
