PURPOSE:To prevent center seal rubber from rolling in, by inserting a spacer, which forms its car room inner side into a vertical plate-shaped body further provides a protruding part to a car outer side in the upper end part of the plate-shaped body, into a hollow part in a hollow lip. CONSTITUTION:A car body 1 holds to its opening edge 2 a weather strip 21 through a retainer 3, and the weather strip 21 has a base part 22 held in the retainer 3, strut part 23 hung down from the car room inner side end part of the base part 22 and a strut 26 dividing into two parts in the vertical direction a hollow lip 24 and a hollow part 25 which exist extending between the bottom end part of the strut part 23 and the car room outer side end part of the base part 22. In this structure, a spacer 28, consisting of sponge rubber or the like, is inserted into a car room outer side hollow part 27 surrounded by the strut 26 and the hollow lip 24. The spacer 28 is formed by a vertical plate-shaped body 28a positioned in the car room inner side and a protruding part 28b to the car outer side from the upper end part of the plate-shaped body 28a.
