PURPOSE:To efficiently prepare the title tape by putting a main tape into partial contact with a thickness tape when they are drawn out forward and making these tapes pass an adhesive adjuster, a roulette and a press jig. CONSTITUTION:The main tape mounting roller 3 and the thickness tape mounting roller 4 are arranged with their rotating shafts in parallel. The main tape 1 and the thickness tape 2 drawn out of those rollers 3, 4 are put into partial contact. Those tapes 1, 2, put in contact are compressed by the adjuster 5 from the side of the tape 2. In addition, at the roulette 6 those tapes are put into contact from the side of the tape 1 along the folding line of the tape 2. On the following press jig 8 are provided a wide rear end inlet 8a to which the tape 1 and the tape 2 to be folded advance and a front end outlet 8b through which the tape 1 and the tape 2 which was folded fully along the side edge of the tape 1 can be drawn out.
