PURPOSE:To efficiently exclude air or gases and contrive higher quality of a press-formed product, by controlling the degree of vacuum in a vacuum casing according to a set pattern. CONSTITUTION:A vacuum sensor 26 outputs a vacuum degree signal S4 corresponding to the degree of vacuum in a vacuum casing 12, and the signal S4 is sent through an A/D converter 28 to a comparator 30. A target vacuum degree signal S5 based on a prestored vacuum degree set pattern is supplied from a set pattern memory 32 connected to the comparator 30. The comparator 30 compares the target vacuum signal S5 with the vacuum degree signal S4, and outputs a difference signal S6 to an ON-OFF controlling circuit 18. The circuit 18 outputs exciting signals S1, S3 according to the difference signal S6 to solenoid selector valve 14, 24, thereby conforming the vacuum degree to the target vacuum degree.
