PURPOSE:To enhance the utility efficiency of a linear motor by moving a conveying vehicle on a linear motor from one side to the other side of a linear motor module, and then sequentially energizing the motor from the other side. CONSTITUTION:When a conveying vehicle 2 enters a linear motor module 3n from a direction of an arrow (a), it is plug-braked to stop at a position p3 corresponding to a linear motor 3nc of one side, and to be held at its position. When the vehicle 2 enters from a direction of an arrow (b), it is stopped at a position p4 corresponding to a linear motor 3na of the other side, fed to the position p3 by linear motors 3na, 3nb, 3nc, and held thereat. When the vehicle 2 is started in the direction of the arrow (b), if it is started in the direction of the arrow (a) as it is, it is fed to the position p3, and the motors 3na-3nc are then sequentially energized. |
