PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a moving portion by allowing only a tension pad device and a brake roll device to be sheltered to the outside of the line in a tension device used in the line passing a multi-thread hoop slit with a slitter to a recoiler. CONSTITUTION:After a lower support frame 5 is removed from a housing 2, an upper support frame 4 is lowered by an action of a fluid pressure cylinder 9 and a wheel 7 is put on a rail 6, the lug 12 of the upper support frame 4 is coupled and joined into the recess of the lug 24 of the lower support frame 5 so that the weight of the upper support frame 4 is supported by the lower support frame 5 and a gap is formed between a rod and a groove 8 of the fluid pressure cylinder 9. Next, both support frames 4, 5 are extracted to the outside of the housing 2 by an action of a fluid pressure cylinder 23, a tension pad device and a brake roll device 11 fitted to the upper and lower support frames 4, 5 are sheltered to the outside of the passing line, and a multi-thread hoop is allowed to pass from a slitter to a recoiler. |
