PURPOSE:To transmit a clear image even when a less number of optical fibers is used, by welding the optical fibers in the extent of 60% in radius from the center of the cross section of a multiple fiber to each other into a regular honeycomb structure. CONSTITUTION:The image scope of this invention uses a multiple fiber 1 which is formed by welding numerous crystal-glass optical fibers to each other into a tube with an outer diameter of <=1.5mm as an image transmitting path and the optical fibers 7 in the extent of at least 60% in radius from the center of the multiple fiber 1 is welded to each other into a regular honeycomb. Therefore, an extremely clear transmission image is obtained even when the picture is enlarged with a high magnification even with a small number, for example, <=50,000 of optical fibers.
