PURPOSE:To measure a magnetostatic field intensity distribution in a short time, by differentiating time interval for detecting nuclear magnetic resonance signals. CONSTITUTION:Time interval from the application of a theta deg. pulse high frequency magnetic field to the application of a 180 deg. pulse high frequency magnetic field and that from the application of a 180 deg. pulse high frequency magnetic field to the creation of a spin echo form are made different by epsilon1 and epsilon2 respectively and nuclear magnetic resonance signals from an object 2 are received with a detection coil 3 to be inputted into a computer 9. From an output of the computer corresponding to difference of the time intervals, a magnetostatic field intensity distribution is computed, thereby enabling measurement of the magnetostatic field intensity distribution in a measuring area in a short time.
