PURPOSE:To improve the concentrating property, developability and safe and hygienic characteristics of a developing soln. by using propylene glycol monophenyl ether. CONSTITUTION:This developing soln. consists of the propylene glycol monophenyl ether (A), anionic surfactant (e.g.: sodium dibutyl naphthalene sulfonate) and alkaline agent (e.g.: diethanol amine). Various additives may be added to this developing soln.; more particularly, an org. solvent having water miscibility (e.g.: propylene glycol) may be added thereto in order to enhance the solubility of the component A. The developing soln. which has the excellent concentrating property, exhibits the excellent developability even to a printing plate deteriorated with lapse of time and has low toxicity is obtd. according to this constitution. |
