摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To contrive uniform coating for material to be coated by changing over and controlling the pressure of driving air fed to an air motor so that the pressure is made high while paint is supplied to a rotary electrode and made low while the supply of paint is stopped. CONSTITUTION:Liquid paint fed to the inner circumferential face of a rotary electrode 3 driven by an air motor 2 is discharged in a foggy state from the tip end of the rotary electrode 3 by means of both centrifugal force and the action of an electrostatic field formed between it and material to be coated. The pressure of driving air fed to the air motor 2 of a rotary electrode type electrostatic coating gun is changed over and controlled so that the pressure is made high while paint is supplied to the rotary electrode 3 and made low while the supply of paint is stopped. In other words, in the case of alternately repeating ejection and nonejection of paint by alternately performing supply and stop thereof, the rotary electrode is always rotated at constant speed without causing the fluctuation of speed and thereby the same atomization state is always obtained at a time for ejecting paint and this can be uniformly applied on the material to be coated.</p>
