PURPOSE:To surely hold a nozzle at a specified position by separately connecting a pressure accumulator set at a high pressure and an accumulator set at a low pressure for preventing the infiltration of fountain water to the upstream side of the passage switching means for a pressurized fluid pipe, and selectively allowing each accumulator to communicate with the upper chamber of a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The fountain device main body 1 is provided with a nozzle 4 to be lifted up and down in linkage with a piston rod 7. The nozzle 4 is lifted up and down by the driving of a pressurized liq. supplying means 12 and the pressurized fluid to be selectively introduced into the upper chamber 6A of the cylinder and the lower chamber 6B by the passage switching means 14 for the pressurized fluid pipe. In addition to such a constitution, the pressure accumulator 15 set at a high pressure and the accumulator 16 set at a low pressure for preventing the infiltration of fountain water are separately connected to the upstream side of the passage switching means 14. The accumulator 15 is allowed to communicate with the upper chamber 6A by an opening and closing means 18 to push down the piston rod 7, and the accumulator 16 is allowed to communicate with the upper chamber 6A through an opening and closing means 19 to push up the piston rod 7.
