PURPOSE:To remove waiting time by extracting a teletext signal from a TV video signal through an extracting circuit, storing at least one page of the whole program and the whole pages of a specific program in a memory as program data, and reading out and displaying data in each page from the memory in accordance with the depression of an UP/DOWN key. CONSTITUTION:Program data at least one page in the whole programs for teletext and program data in all pages of one or plural specific programs previously specified are stored in the memory 15. When a program other than the specific program is different from the precedently stored data, the data are updated by always the up-to-date data and stored. When the specific program is different from the previously stored data, the up-to-date data are independently stored without rewriting the preceding data. When a program number of an objective teletext is selected by a remote controller 30, the program selecting number data are sent to an image processing CPU 9 and the program data of the program selected by the CPU 9 is extracted from the memory to display the specified program.
