PURPOSE:To test a device automatically and quickly with respect to all operation modes, by setting an operation mode to a register with a test program and switching it with a multiplexer. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 4 in an input/output controller 6 refers to contents set to an operation mode set board 1 in accordance with the program to control the device 6. In case of diagnosis, operation mode data is set to an operation mode set register 2 for test by the test program. A data bus in a multiplexer 3 is switched as shown by a broken line in Fig. simultaneously with this setting, and contents of the register 2 are referred to test the device with respect to the pertinent operation mode. When this test is terminated, another test mode data is set to the register, and thus tests are automatically executed successively. |
