A two piece road stud 1 comprises a cylindrical holder 2 which is inserted in a cylindrical hole 45 drilled in a roadway and has a rebate 40 for filling with a hardenable material such as tar or bitchumen. A block 3 is height adjustably mounted to the holder 2 by a bolt 5 which screw threadingly engages a hole 7 in the holder 2. The head of the bolts is covered by a hung 12 which engages in a recess 10 in the block 3. For surface re-dressing the bung 12 and bolt are removed allowing the block 3 to be temporarily removed from the holder allowing the surface to be easily re-dressed. When the surface is re-dressed the block 3 is relocated over the holder 2 and the bolt 5 is engaged in the holder and the bung 12 replaced. The block 3 includes a locating flange 25 which assists in locating and aligning the stud correctly on a roadway so that the reflector lenses 30 of the stud are correctly aligned. <IMAGE> |
