<p>A sports equipment grip especially suited for covering a hardened or worn conventional golf club or tennis racquet grip and comprising a thin conical tube (10) of flexible material such as latex rubber and especially configured to be disposable, reversible, easily installed and suitable for low cost manufacture. The reversibility feature permits user installation over an existing grip. The exterior surface of the tube (10) is preferably provided with a raised or textured pattern which enhances frictional engagement with the user's hands. The radial dimensions of the tube (10) are oversized to permit installation of the present invention over both the handle and an old worn grip covering the handle. The grip is sufficiently thin to permit folding it repeatedly like a tube of toothpaste to also facilitate installation.</p> |
