In a smoke detector for a ventilation duct, having a smoke-density measuring device through which a flow can pass, the smoke-density measuring device is arranged in a receptacle which has an opening which, in the case of a receptacle mounted on a wall of the ventilation duct, corresponds with a clearance in the wall. Arranged in front of the opening are air-ducting elements, projecting through the clearance into the ventilation duct. The ducting elements are the surfaces of a baffle which is aligned transversely with respect to the direction of flow in the ventilation duct and comprises at least four vanes which cross one another. |
