PURPOSE:To reduce the head crash of a magnetic disk and a magnetic head by coating either side of surfaces contacting with carriage and a base plate with resin. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic disk 1 is fixed to a spindle 2 in multiple lamination and turned by a motor consisting of a stator 3 and rotor 4. The magnetic head 5 is fixed to an arm 6 and positioned onto the magnetic disk 1 by a carriage 8, and all of them are positionally fixed and also enclosed by the base plate 7. Resin coating is applied on a surface of contact with this base plate 7 and with the carriage 8 as either on the base plate surface (A surface) or on the carriage side surface (B surface) even or both of the surfaces. In this way, the surface of contact is slid smoothly so as not to blemish both side surfaces at the time of assemblage.
