<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the paper jam to carry forms independently of their thickness and rigidity, by forming a form carrying path into a straight line in a transfer type electrophotographic copying machine or the like and guiding and carrying the form in the tangential direction of a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A form 20 is guided by a carrying guide 11 and is led straight in the tangential direction in a contacting part C of a photosensitive body 13. The form 20 is brought closely into contact with the photosensitive body 13 and a toner image is transferred to the form 20 by the action of a corona discharger 14. The form 20 has one side end separated from the photosensitive body 13 by a peeling guide 5 and is peeled by the cooperative action of a peeling roll 16 and the peeling guide 15. After peeling, the form 20 is carried to heat rolls 18 and 19 along a guide plate 17. If the form 20 is thick, the form 20 is no carried while being brought closely into contact with the photosensitive body 13 because to the rigidity of the form itself and is peeled naturally. Thus, good transfer is performed even for thick forms, and the paper jam is prevented.</p> |
