A herbicidal composition which comprises as the active ingredients (a) at lease one of compounds of the general formula: <CHEM> wherein R is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and (b) at least one of 1-(2-chlorophenylsulfonyl)-3-(4-methoxy-6-methyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)urea or methyl 2-[3-(4-methoxy-6-methyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)aminocarbonylaminosulfonyl ]benzoate, and an inert carrier or diluent, which exerts a synergistically enhanced herbicidal potency. |
