A polymer of average number molucular weight from 400 to 20 000 comprising amino-substituted groups in its molecule, characterized in that it obtained by reacting at least one compound with primary amine group comprising at least 8 carbon atoms in its molecule and complying with one of the general formulas : R - Z [(CH2 )n - NH ]m H (I) and HO - R" - NH2 (II) wherein R is a monovalent aliphatic radical having at most 46 carbon atoms, Z is selected from -O-, -NH- and -NR'- groups in which R' is a monovalent aliphatic radical having 1-30 carbon atoms, n is an integer from 2 to 4, m is an integer from 1 to 4 or zero Z is -NH-, R" is a divalent aliphatic radical having 8-46 carbon atoms, with an unsaturated polyester resulting from the condensation of at least one unsaturated dicarboxylic compound having 4-8 carbon atoms in its molecule on at least one monoepoxidated compound having at least 8 carbon atoms in its molecule, the molar ratio : monoepoxidated compound/dicarboxylic compound being from about 0.8:1 to about 1.2:1 and the molar ratio:compound with primary amine group/dicarboxylic compound ranging from about 0.2:1 to about 1.5:1.
