PURPOSE:To improve a working efficiency in a grinding and processing by autorotating plural chucking mechanisms around a first shaft core, further, revolving a whole autorotating mechanism around a second shaft core and sliding the gap surface to a grinding surface. CONSTITUTION:In a head rotation mechanism E, an autorotating main spindle 15 to load plural chucking mechanisms D is autorotated and driven through a driving shaft 29 and a gear wheel, and further,a revolving main spindle 22 to support the autorotating main spindle 15 is revolved and driven through a belt 37 and a pulley 35. Thereafter, the magnetic head is autorotated and revolved and driven with a head rotation mechanism E, and slid onto the upper surface of a wrapping tape 41 by an X axis sliding stage 51 and a Z axis sliding stage 46 of a conveying mechanism H. Thus, the gap surface of plural magnetic heads held simply and with a good accuracy can be simultaneously ground and processed.
