PURPOSE:To perform precise control in a title passive type suspension, by a method wherein device, when the computing motion of a command computing means, computing a command value by integrating vertical acceleration signal and multiplying the result by a gain, is in a saturate state, a gain is lowered. CONSTITUTION:When a signal from a vertical acceleration detecting means 29FL is inputted to a controller 30, by multiplying the signal by a gain according to a given program, a command value is computed to control the working pressure of a possive type suspension 11FL. In this case, a detecting signal from a stroke detector 42FL located between a given position on the outer cylinder of a cylinder tube 15a and a member 12A on the car body side is inputted to the controller 30. From a distance signal therefrom, the controller 30 decides whether a command value computing motion is in a saturated state, and when in a saturate state, a gain by which to multiply is lowered to compute a command value. This constitution enables execution of precise control even when steady vertical acceleration at a long slope and the like is created. |
