PURPOSE:To protect a disk carrier from an external shock at the time of a transport and to prevent the penetration of a dust by constituting a leaf spring and a clamper in a cartridge so as to press the disk carrier respectively against the internal surface of the cartridge when it is not used, or against a motor hub when it is used. CONSTITUTION:The clamper 3, supported by the leaf spring 4 and being capable of rotating freely on one side of the internal surface of an optical disk cartridge 1, presses an optical disk carrier 2 against the surface of the other side. When it is loaded on an optical disk device, the disk 2 is installed securely by the reaction of the leaf spring being pressed against a spindle motor hub 8. Accordingly the disk does not suffer from a damage due to the shock at the time of the transport and the loading or the unloading, and the dust does not penetrate because the shutter 7 of an optical access window 6 is closed. |
