PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition by hydrogenating a block copolymer of a vinyl aromatic compound and a conjugated diene compound, modifying the hydrogenated polymer with a carboxylic acid (derivative) and compounding the product with polypropylene and an ethylene/acrylate copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is composed of (A) 40-90wt% modified hydrogenated block copolymer produced by (1) hydrogenating a block copolymer of a vinyl aromatic compound (preferably styrene) and a conjugated diene compound (preferably butadiene or isoprene) using preferably a titanium- based hydrogenation catalyst to hydrogenate >=80% of aliphatic double bond originated from the conjugated diene in said copolymer and (2) adding 0.05-10 pts.wt. of an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid (derivative) to 100pts.wt. of the hydrogenated block copolymer produced by the step (1), (B) 5-30wt% copolymer composed mainly of polypropylene and (C) 5-30wt% ethylene/acrylate copolymer having an acrylate-content of >=5wt%. |
